Sunday 9th August 10am – 2pm Tennis for Free Cheslyn Hay Tennis Coaches will be providing a 2 hour free coaching in the Tennis Courts in Hednesford Park. Young children need to come to first hour.
Monday 10th August 9.15am Walk for Health Meet at the pavilion

Monday 10th August 12.45pm Forget me Knot Walk Walk for Families living with Dementia and anyone else who wishes to join us. 30 minute walk that includes the Park, Town and up by Gaskins Wood.
Tuesday 11th August 8.30am Walk up Kitbag Hill from the Pavilion, Hednesford Park to Marquis Drive Visitors Centre To support the Step in to Wartime Event we are commemorating the journey new recruits did along the railway to the Station at the bottom of Kitbag Hill. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather of that day. Kitbag hill is NOT SUITABLE for Mobility Scooters, Pushchairs or poor fitness.
Tuesday 11th August 10.30am Walk from Marquis Drive to Hednesford Park To support the Step in to Wartime Event we are delivering a Walk for Health from Marquis Drive Visitors Centre to Hednesford Park. War Themed Activities on Route, path is suitable for pushchairs and mobility scooters.
Tuesday 11th August 12noon – 3pm Step in to Wartime Last year marked the centenary of the start of the First World War. Over the last 12 months a number of events and commemorations have taken place locally to remember the huge sacrifices made by men and women across Cannock Chase. Wartime activities including:
A 1 mile walk – ‘walk a mile in their shoes!’, Poppy designs
Arts and crafts, Traditional games, Orienteering
Chalk games, An Army assault course, Fun fair rides
Displays from Norfolk Real Living Museum
Tuesday 11th August 4.30pm – 5.30pm Sportivate Tennis

Cheslyn Hay Tennis Coaches will be providing an hour free coaching in the Tennis Courts
Tuesday 11th August 6pm – 7pm PT in the Park Wigan Culture and Leisure Trust are providing an hour free Physical Training for all ages and ability in the Park in front of the Pavilion
Friday 14th August 2pm – 4pm Street Stadia 2 of 3 Our Community Fire Service will be providing the Street Stadia in Hednesford Park for Football and Dodgeball.
Friday 14th August 12noon – 3pm Teddy Bear’s Picnic and Treasure Hunt The Friends of Hednesford Park are delivering a Teddy Bears Picnic in Hednesford Park. Spend the day, bring a picnic, and take part in the Treasure Hunt and themed activities. Teddy Bear tombola for those who have not got a bear, 20p a go!
Sunday 16th August 10am – 2pm Tennis for Free Cheslyn Hay Tennis Coaches will be providing a 2 hour free coaching in the Tennis Courts in Hednesford Park. Young children need to come to first hour.

2pm – 8pm SOCCA Bootcamp Achieving Goalz and Dreams are delivering a SOCCA Bootcamp. In front of the pavilion, just turn up!
